Climbing on foot and on horseback, even kings and emperours have enjoyed the hospitality of the local mountain huts on alpine pastures.

One can walk in King Maximilian´s footsteps along the entire stretch of the German Alps.
From Lindau on Lake Constance to Bad Reichenhall, there is an easy pass route for hikers and a summit route for mountain-climbers.
